Infopro Digital to become France’s leading business information group via its takeover of Groupe Moniteur

Paris, 20 December 2013 – Infopro Digital, the leading business information group in France, which
operates in the industrial, car manufacturing, retail, insurance and tourism sectors, is acquiring
100% of ISH, Groupe Moniteur’s holding company.

Groupe Moniteur, which has over 1,000 employees and revenues of €165 million, rounds out Infopro
Digital’s business activities in the construction, local authority and energy sectors.

Infopro Digital is maintaining the 25% annual growth rate that it has achieved over the past 13
years. The Group will now report revenues of €300 million, and will count more than 2,000
employees. The Group plans to pursue its development strategy by relying on its employees and on
its brands, all of which are leaders in their respective markets, and include ETAI, L’Usine
Nouvelle, Le Moniteur des travaux publics et du bâtiment, LSA, La Gazette des Communes, and l’Argus
de l’Assurance.

The merger between the two groups will enable an accelerated roll-out of integrated multi-media
offerings (software, databases, magazines, trade shows and events, etc.). Digital media already
accounts for almost 50% of the combined entity’s revenues, and is likely to continue its expansion.
Technological innovation will remain a focal point of the strategy, alongside an active
acquisition-driven growth plan, especially outside of France.

Apax Partners, Infopro Digital’s shareholder, and Bridgepoint, ISH’s shareholder, will support the
Group during this major expansion phase, alongside Infopro Digital’s founder, Christophe
Czajka, and the company’s managers.

Christophe Czajka, Chairman and founder of Infopro Digital said: “We are becoming France’s leading
business information group. Groupe Moniteur is bringing us a portfolio of leading brands, and a
loyal customer base, the quality of which is unrivalled. The entrepreneurial venture that has
driven the Group’s employees over the past
13 years will continue through the ongoing search for innovation in a changing media environment.”

Guillaume Prot, Chairman of Groupe Moniteur, made the following comments: “Infopro Digital and
Groupe Moniteur share the same strategic vision. Over the past four years, the Moniteur Group has
successfully begun its digital transition. The merger with Infopro Digital will enable us to
accelerate this transition in an environment with improved financial margins. For the ISH
Group this disposal means a change in
shareholders. The legal and operational organisation of ISH has thus not been changed and Infopro Digital plans to rely on the existing management teams to implement this ambitious and
proactive growth policy.”

Thomas de Villeneuve, Partner at Apax Partners added: “The acquisition of Groupe Moniteur is a
major stage in Infopro Digital’s expansion. What we are achieving by supporting Infopro Digital is
a perfect embodiment of our investment strategy, namely partnering with top-tier entrepreneurs, and
helping them drive their company’s growth in order to become the market leaders of the future.
Since we began supporting the company, Infopro Digital’s revenues have increased more than
fourfold, while digital media now accounts for around 50% of its revenues”

Xavier Robert, Partner at Bridgepoint, said: “Infopro Digital and Groupe Moniteur complement one
another. The merger will enable Groupe Moniteur to find new means of pursuing its development. Our
reinvestment in the new entity shows our confidence in the outstanding development prospects for
the group that has been created”
