Maurice Tchenio is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Apax Partners SA.

Maurice Tchenio began his career at HEC as Associate Professor of Finance and with Institut de Développement Industriel in Paris, an investment bank specialising in equity investment.
In 1972, along with Ronald Cohen, he founded MMG (Multinational Management Group), now Apax Partners. He has been involved in a very wide range of industries and all types of operations (venture capital, buy-outs, buy-ins, turnarounds) and has particular expertise in consumer goods and retail. 

Maurice Tchenio is co-founder and former Vice-Chairman of the French Venture Capital Association (AFIC) and a former Director of the European Venture Capital Association.

Maurice Tchenio is a graduate of HEC business school and the Harvard Business School where he graduated as a Baker Scholar with high distinction.
